Conception

 

Motto celebrates our family philosophy, "Eh, why not?" It tends to be our go-to phrase when making huge life-changing decisions, like moving our family abroad, or whether to add more kids to that family. It has served our spirit of adventure and wanderlust well thus far. Now it hangs on our wall as a reminder of all that we've experienced together and a reminder to be brave.

Creation

Motto was designed on Adobe Illustrator. Center is ink on fabric. Techniques include raw edge applique. I used Spirit Animal prints by Tula Pink, as well as Kona Cotton Solids, and Cotton + Steel Basics. It is filled with Warm & Natural batting, and quilted using Aurifil thread.
